About 10 years ago, at the urging of my wife (who was probably tired of me complaining about my back pain), I tried Sumits Hot Yoga for the first time. I've been hooked ever since! It’s the only form of exercise I have ever enjoyed doing for this long, and my plan is to do it for the rest of the time I have left on this big, spinning rock!

I get many benefits from practicing hot yoga at Sumits, but in addition to the physical conditioning (my back pain stays away as long as I go to class), the most important benefit is to my mental health. I have an “undiagnosed-except-by-my-lovely-wife” form of ADHD and the everyday practice to try to quiet my mind is very helpful. I always leave class feeling better than when I walked in. Each instructor has their own unique style and provides constructive tips about postures, breath work, and practicing gratitude. With the grace, support, and kindness of all the wonderful instructors, it has been the most enjoyable journey that I hope continues. Big thank you to all of the staff at Sumits! You guys are awesome!
