JULY 2026
I was first introduced to yoga through P90X, of all things. Surprisingly, it wasn't the intensity that hooked me, but the moments of stillness. With a background in mental health, I was already well-versed in mindfulness, but yoga offered a distinct, visceral approach. The rhythm of movement followed by stillness created a unique space to observe my thoughts as they arose in challenging settings. I've learned so much about myself simply by placing my body in difficult positions, stopping, noticing, and truly listening.
Completing my Teacher Training in 2023 deepened my practice in ways I never could have imagined. I have come to realize that yoga is far more than physical exercise; it is a profound journey of self-discovery, teaching me to approach both my work and personal life with greater clarity, patience, and compassion.
Beyond the physical practice, I find deep joy in teaching. It allows me to connect with others on a level that transcends words, creating a shared space where we can tap into a spiritual connection. Guiding others through this process by helping them find that same sense of grounded presence, has become one of the most rewarding aspects of my life.
