Here is Cameron's story:

Looking back to December 2012 three words come to mind. Exhaustion, underweight and stress, just a few things I was battling before I started my journey with Sumits Columbia. Years of running track, practicing Taekwondo, taking college classes and running upwards to 13 miles a day had started to take its toll on my body. Family and friends were becoming increasingly concerned and I knew something had to change.
That following month January 2013, still on my winter break I decided to take the noon community class. Unsure of what to expect I visited the online website to insure I was well prepared. Upon arrival I was greeted by a few lovely ladies who gave me the ins and outs on what to expect during the 80-minute class, they kindly directed me towards the men’s locker room, In that moment I remember thinking to myself “this can’t be all that bad, I’m in great shape!” I grabbed my water, towel and mat and headed into the class, and boy was I in for a surprise. Once the class was over I was just ready to leave. I wanted nothing else to do with Sumits yoga. My mind was made-up and this was a big mistake! As I began to exit Sarah (instructor) asked me how I liked it, I looked back laughed and said, “I don't know, it was challenging.”
Fast-forward to today and if someone asked me my thoughts on Sumits Yoga I would have nothing but great things to say. The past 2-½ years have been nothing short of a blessing. I’m happy, healthy and completely in touch with my body, breathe and spirit.
