“I took my first class at Sumits in 2014 and was immediately hooked. I had never done yoga before - I had the idea that it wasn't a 'real' workout and it just required you to contort your body into different shapes. The combination of the Sumits series and the heat/humidity quickly changed my mind. Although I fell out of practice for a few years, I am beyond grateful Sumits is a consistent part of my life again.

Aside from the physical benefits, yoga has helped me with so many aspects of life. It is rare to get a full hour where you can do nothing but focus on yourself but the Sumits series does just that. It quiets my inner voice and forces me to stop thinking about anything other than what I am doing in the moment. The connection yoga provides to your breath really does help give me focus and clarity in stressful situations. It has also forced me to meet my body where it is every day and appreciate what it can do.

I'm beyond grateful to the entire Sumits staff. The instructors positivity, reassurance, and encouragement has been amazing. Although some days are harder to make it to my mat, I never regret the time I spend on it.”
