JANUARY 2026

I first walked into Sumits in 2016 with a practical goal: I wanted to focus on flexibility and complement my current cardio/weight training routine. Having been a fitness instructor in my college days and growing up with a background in dance and swimming, I have always been active—but I hadn’t yet found a yoga practice that truly "clicked" until I experienced the Sumits hot room. After that first class, I was completely soaked, my mat was soaked, and I felt a rare combination of exhaustion, peace, and exhilaration all at once.

I quickly realized Sumits wasn’t just another workout. The combination of heat, music, and the rhythmic connection of one breath to one movement offered an emotional release and a sense of community I never expected and didn't realize how much I needed! This journey of self-discovery helped me realize how much I love to teach; it led me to become a certified Jazzercise instructor in 2022, and after completing the Sumits Yoga Sculpt training in October, I officially joined the instructor team in December 2025.

As a full-time professional and a mom of two, life is a constant balancing act. Yoga is the space where I find my center so I can show up fully for my family, my work, my friends, and my community.

In my classes, I love to bring a sense of fun and high energy to the room. I also love curating the perfect playlists to help us stay motivated and present (and I welcome requests). My goal is to help every Sumits yogi find their own unique journey on the mat and leave class feeling energized, resilient, and deeply connected to themselves.
