My love affair with yoga started in the spring of 2015. I had been going through some changes in my life, and a friend of mine recommended Sumits as a way to unwind and escape. Little did I know that only a year later I would have fallen so deeply in love with yoga as a practice; that I would be teaching! My favorite part of yoga is the meditation that comes with moving the body and slowing the breath (and of course inversions!). As an ICU Nurse its difficult to make my mind stop, when I step into our beautiful studio I get to focus on myself and only myself. Aside from providing the absolute best therapy-- Sumits Yoga has also provided me with a second family and I can't express how truly grateful I am to have found them.
