Sumits Yoga Columbia offers yoga classes for all levels that are both heated and non-heated. We also offer a full yoga retail boutique including apparel, mats, towels, as well as other yogi inspired products and accessories from the best brands in technical athletic apparel including lululemon, Manduka, Teeki, Beyond Yoga and many more! All of our yoga classes are practiced to music and led by instructors that all hold a minimum of 200 hour certification from The Yoga Alliance. You can feel confident that the instruction you receive will be safe and have you in correct alignment during each and every posture! Classes are Vinyasa Flow, Bikram and Ashtanga inspired.

Join Jake on Saturdays for guided group meditations. These guided meditations will explore ancient meditation practices and how these practices can benefit your modern life. No experience is necessary. These events are donation only classes and are open to the public. Each meditation session will begin with light stretching, breath work, and then move into 20 minutes of meditation. Each meditation will be followed by group discussion.
Donations of any amount are encouraged and will benefit different non-profit organizations in our community.
The Columbia Yoga Project is a committed group of yogis and yoga teachers who plan group yoga events. They use the donations they gather at these events to benefit other non-profit organizations in the area, strengthening our community in many ways.
As long as you're breathing calmly, you're practicing correctly.

"Hello! I am delighted to share my Sumits yoga experience with the friends I see in class and possibly folks who have never tried hot yoga. I have done traditional yoga, but would not say I truly “practiced.” It had not resonated with me to the point of bringing me back to the mat on a regular basis. At 47 years of age, my body and mind are now in a very different place. Since October of 2016, thanks to an injury/wake- up call, I have been on a mission to transform my physical body. I have made significant and lasting nutritional changes and become physically stronger through strength training and walking, followed by running. In January of this year, I decided to give hot yoga a try and I was instantly hooked. Yes, it was difficult and no, I couldn’t do all the poses or hang in for all 80 minutes. But the heat was unlike anything I had experienced before."
