NEW CLASS ANNOUNCEMENT -
Ashtanga Modified Primary Series
WEDNESDAYS AT 7:00AM
This class is a Modified Primary Series (MPS) of the Ashtanga system, as taught in the tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. The Primary Series is a set sequence of postures designed to bring strength, flexibility, and endurance to the body. Practicing the sequence consistently purifies the body through breath, movement, and concentration to invoke a stillness of the mind. Benefits derived from Ashtanga Vinyasa include increased body-breath awareness, a building of strength and stamina as well as flexibility and balance. This class will allow development of personal practice that can be taken outside the yoga studio into daily life. An understanding of the Ashtanga and Ashtanga Vinyasa lifestyle can be applied to all types of yoga.
This class is not heated and is donation based only. All proceeds will benefit the Missouri River Relief river clean up events.

Congrats to our current student of the month!
Current Student of the Month: Greg
"I started hot yoga about 2 years ago at Sumits in Columbia! I had no idea what I was getting myself into. My initial thought was that I will get a sweat on and learn something new. With a lot of tlc from the instructors it has been a transformative experience. Yoga for me is both physically and mentally challenging."
"I have seen inner change, the ability to slow down and to be at peace and to be more patient with myself in this journey! ."
